Kirtland, OH---Sophomore guard Charles Oliver has inked a national letter of intent to join Robert Morris University for the 2013-14 season. The First Team All-American and Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) Player of the Year will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Lynchburg, VA---Point guard Joe Retic II will be moving on from the Express men's basketball team after one season to attend NCAA D-I Liberty University.

Lakers Rally Past Sinclair, Win Outright OCCAC Title

Dayton, OH---No. 10 Lakeland rallied past host Sinclair in the regular season finale on Saturday afternoon, clinching an outright Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) championship for the first time in 18 years. The Lakers enter the District 11 tournament as the top overall seed and will receive an automatic bye into the semifinals (March 8) against the winner of Tuesday’s game between fourth-seed Cuyahoga and fifth-seed Columbus State.
