Six conference institutions are represented in the 2025-26 OCCAC women’s basketball annual awards, including Cuyahoga Community College becoming home to both the Player and Coach of the Year honorees.
Player of the Year: La’Nia Moore (Cuyahoga); Runner-up: Liv Mullins (Owens)
Coach of the Year: Dion Griffin (Cuyahoga)
Defensive Player of the Year: Hawa Ba (Hocking)
Playmaker of the Year: La’Nia Moore (Cuyahoga)
Moore becomes the first Player of the Year for Cuyahoga since Charlotte Powell brought home the honor in 1993-94. Griffin is now a two-time honoree after sharing the award in 2023-24 with then-co-head coach Jasmine Frierson and Seth Martin (Hocking).
