Six wins, one award for Owens Volleyball

Sophomore outside hitter Maddie White lifted The Express to six wins in six tries at the Owens Express Invitational, garnering OCCAC Player of the Week recognition for Aug. 29-Sept. 4. She accounted for nearly five points per set as Owens secured all 18 sets played.

White earns her fourth career weekly honor from the conference after posting no less than 10 points in each of the six victories. She terminated 74 total kills at a .469 attacking rate (74-13-130) while also digging 3.2 balls per set (57 total). White added 17 assists, nine aces and nine blocks to her impressive stat line.
