Not Once, Not Twice, But Thrice For Maddie White

For the third time in eight weeks, Maddie White of Owens Volleyball has been voted as the OCCAC Player of the Week (Oct. 11-17). She guided the Express to five victories last week, improving to 23-6 overall and 9-1 in league play.

White accumulated 4.74 assists, 2.74 kills, 2.00 digs and .63 blocks per set while splitting time between setter (back row) and outside hitter (front row). She registered a double-double in four of five contests, including a 19-assist, 14-kills, 13-dig triple-double to conclude the week in a five-set winner over St. Clair County. White came up just three kills and two digs shy of posting a pair of additonal triple-doubles. 

The freshman was responsible for no less than 8.5 points in all five matches, peaking at 17 points versus St. Clair County. White's hitting percentage came in at .295 with 52 kills on 132 attempts with 13 errors.
