Columbus State and Owens ranked in volleyball preseason poll
Columbus State Community College's volleyball is ranked 13th in the NJCAA Division II preseason volleyball poll. The Cougars, who qualified for the NJCAA Division II volleyball nationals last season, finished 2008 with a 38-8 record. The Cougars open their season this weekend by hosting the Central Ohio Tournament on Friday and Saturday. Owens Community College is ranked 17th in the NJCAA Division II preseason volleyball poll. The Express, who were runners-up in the NJCAA District D tournament to Columbus State CC. The Express finished last season with a record of 39-15. They will open their season at Grand Rapids Community College on Friday at the Raider Invitational.
